Nathan Williamson - Artistic Director
Chacombe Music facilitates and produces concerts and other musical events, primarily of chamber and vocal music.
We are committed to bringing the highest standard of musical performance to areas of the UK where it is appreciated but may not be regularly presented.
We also aim to provide performance opportunities for artists on the brink of major professional careers.
For the past seven years the annual Chacombe Music Festival has been at the core of our activities; from 2008 onwards we will be staging other, similar events in Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire and other parts of the UK.
A new Residency Programme also offers a superb opportunity for young artists to undertake a period of all-expenses-paid study, collaboration and performance in Chacombe.
Click here for the full 2009 Festival programme and see the box office page to make a booking.
We very much look forward to seeing you at our concerts in Chacombe this summer. |

The Chacombe Music Festival 2009, celebrating youth, talent and creativity, is held on the weekend of the
12th /13th /14th of June.
Our Artists-in-residence are the Martucci Ensemble, students from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, led by Guildhall violin professor Arisa Fujita. They are joined by young artists from the Yehudi Menuhin School performing Bach Violin Concertos and three outstanding singers including former Sophie's Silver Lining Fund Scholars.
Flute and Harp duo Nicola Phillips and Deian Rowlands will perform in the Sunday morning Coffee Concert. A new work, Crystal, by Artistic Director Nathan Williamson, will also be heard on Sunday evening.
An art exhibition, ' Positivity' by Giles Hayter will be held in Sophie's Barn and Chacombe Church available for viewing throughout the Festival weekend.
Due to the poor weather the last two years we now have a Marquee! to ensure picnics can go ahead on the Saturday evening! Spaces can be reserved via the booking form or through the box office. |
