Nathan Williamson - Artistic Director
Chacombe Music facilitates and produces concerts and other musical events, primarily of chamber and vocal music.
We are committed to bringing the highest standard of musical performance to areas of the UK where it is appreciated but may not be regularly presented.
We also aim to provide performance opportunities for artists on the brink of major professional careers.
For the past seven years the annual Chacombe Music Festival has been at the core of our activities; from 2008 onwards we will be staging other, similar events in Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire and other parts of the UK.
A new Residency Programme also offers a superb opportunity for young artists to undertake a period of all-expenses-paid study, collaboration and performance in Chacombe.
Click here for the full 2009 Festival programme and see the box office page to make a booking.
We very much look forward to seeing you at our concerts in Chacombe this summer. |

2010 will be the 10th Festival held in Chacombe and will be held over the weekend of Friday 18th to Sunday 20th of June.
To celebrate the anniversary we welcome back a number of distinguished Festival Alumni, including the Aronowitz Ensemble, the Rhodes Piano Trio, and cellist Charles Watt, who will be making up the programmes on the Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Friday evening will feature extracts from a new opera, A Fountain Sealed, by Festival director Nathan Williamson, produced by Charles Court Opera.
Guitar duo Tom Ellis and Laura Snowden from the Royal College of Music will be performing for the Coffee Concert on Sunday morning. We shall also will be holding more informal events during the previous week around an art exhibition in Sophie's Barn.
The Barn continues to flourish as a wonderful, intimate concert venue throughout the year, with recent residencies and performances by soprano Sarah Barnes, Ensemble 1607, Stephanie Shepherd Deadpan Productions and the Lawson Piano Trio. |
