They became involved with chamber music through their daughter who trained at Pro Corda, Music House and the Guildhall School of Music, through which connections they invited Tim Boulton to be Chacombe’s first Artistic Director. Juliet and Nigel work closely with Nathan to arrange the concert programme and organise the box office, publicity and concert organisation.

Cherry and Stephen live in Chacombe and oversee all activities in Sophie’s Barn, which adjoins their home. The barn was converted to a private performance venue in commemoration of their daughter, a talented singer and actor, who tragically died in a car accident in 1998. Cherry and Stephen were joint organisers of the Chacombe Music Festival until last year. |
