All performers at the Chacombe Music Festival are offered the opportunity of a residency in Chacombe for the week prior to the Festival itself, allowing for intensive rehearsal and collaboration in beautiful rural surroundings.

Superb facilities are available: both the village Church and Sophie’s Barn, a private music venue situated in Chacombe (click here for a map), are equipped with excellent grand pianos and are available for rehearsal throughout the week.

Full board and lodging is provided for all artists for the duration of the residency free of charge, together with reasonable travel expenses. (This is in addition to the usual fee for performing in the Festival concerts). All rehearsal venues are within a few minutes walk of accommodation.
